Which harness should I choose for my Tripawd?
To keep your pup’s harness secure, we recommend the Web Master™ Dog Harness or Flagline™ Dog Harness. Both of these harnesses are equipped with an additional belly strap and handle to keep the harness in place and help lift and assist your pup over obstacles.
The Web Master™ Dog Harness and Brush Guard™ Harness Add-On combination is a favorite among our "Tripawd" community. This harness has a padded handle that allows you to support your pup while they are getting around, and the addition of the Brush Guard makes a very sturdy platform that won't slide off of three-legged dogs.
Another option that is popular for Tripawd pups is our Flagline™ Dog Harness. The Flagline Harness is designed as a fast and light harness that is easy to get on and off with buckles on each side of the harness. It has a slimmer profile over the back and offers secure lift assistance with the hammock-style chest/belly panel. It also features an additional leash attachment point on the chest. This style packs down, making it easy to take along on adventures where it may not always be in use.
Making sure your pup has a secure and snug-fitting harness is important for comfort and performance! Our sizing is based on a girth measurement around the widest part of your dog’s rib cage. For a quick guide to measuring check out this video. Once you have your new harness, we recommend checking out the How to Fit and Adjust video for either harness below!
