Between Harness Sizes

My dog is in between harness sizes. Which size should I choose?

Our harness sizing is based on dogs’ girth measurements. Sometimes, a pup’s girth measurement falls on the cusp of two sizes.

For example, size Small fits a chest girth of 22-27 inches, while size Medium fits 27-32 inches. Which size should you select for your 27-inch girth pup? The answer depends on which harness you’re considering.

For a Front Range® Harness, Hi & Light™ Harness, Flagline™ Harness, or Switchbak™ Harness, we recommend choosing the larger size.

For a Web Master™ Harness or Swamp Cooler™ Harness, choose the smaller size.

Additional sizing information can be found on each product page by clicking the Use Sizing Tool link under the size selector dropdown. Click the yellow Size Chart button to see a recommendation for sizing up or down if your pup is between sizes. The recommendation is based on product design and intended fit, and may differ from product to product.
