Can my dog wear cooling gear with a harness or pack?
Absolutely. Depending on the harness or pack your pup uses, you have options: layer the Swamp Cooler™ Vest over any harness, layer the Swamp Cooler Zip™ under the pack or harness, or add a cooling accessory like the Swamp Cooler™ Neck Gaiter or Swamp Cooler Core™ to your pack or harness.
I’m using the Swamp Cooler™ Vest, how should I layer it?
Layer the Swamp Cooler™ Vest over a harness. The back leash portal will still allow access to the back V-ring on your dog’s harness. This style works great with harnesses or on its own but doesn’t work well with packs, as the saddlebags add too much bulk.
I’m using the Swamp Cooler Zip™ Vest, how should I layer it?
Layer the Swamp Cooler Zip™ Vest under a harness or pack. The spandex back panel is low profile, making it great for layering. The Swamp Cooler™ Tech in this style is in the chest panel only, keeping it close to the core under harness and pack straps.
Will the Swamp Cooler Core™ work with my dog’s harness or pack?
The Swamp Cooler Core™ lets you add cooling and additional stabilization to some packs and harnesses. It works with the Web Master™ Harness, Approach™ Pack, and Palisades™ Pack.
Are there other cooling gear options?
Yes. You can forgo layering and use the Swamp Cooler™ Harness for an all-in-one harness cooling solution.
